Our Earth is in danger!

KIDS CALL is the international Youth Campaign by the World Future Council to ask the most important politicians in the world to save life on Earth. The students work and messages were presented on July 7th 2008, in the world’s most powerful politicians meeting in Japan for the G8 summit. As well as political leaders from Germany, France, Great Britain, Italy, Japan, Canada, Russia and the USA (the G8 countries), the heads of government of Brazil, China, India, Mexico and South Africa were also there. These 13 countries are the ones mainly responsible for climate change, yet also have the biggest power to stop it. That's why kids wrote them to protect the climate and prevent environmental destruction!

The students of ITA partner and project schools from all districts participated in KIDS CALL Campaign in June 2008. They were told about the threat of climate change and environmental damage to our future.  They made posters and models to show the politicians how the kids like the future to look and what they should do about it.
