ITA was formed and registered in June 2000. ITA's primary

sector, low cost private schools and most recently
During Dubai Cares Phase-I, ITA collaborated with Oxfam GB to initiate a School Improvement project titled, “Enhancing Girls Enrollment in Remote Areas of Pakistan”. The purpose of the project was to complement Government of Pakistan’s efforts in achieving the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), the progress of which remained slow; poor quality of education, corporal punishments, high student teacher ratio, poor school infrastructures are the major derailing factors.
The flood of 2010 proved to be a major setback as it devastated the infrastructure of many schools especially in under privileged areas of Southern Punjab and Sindh. In this context, Dubai Cares initiated Phase-II of the project and collaborated with ITA to assist in school rehabilitation and providing quality education in the flood hit areas especially focusing on girls’ education.
Upon completion of the second phase, Dubai Cares extended its support to ITA for a Phase-III which is specifically targeting at improving the learning outcomes, enrolment and transitions from early childhood education to primary education for especially girls and vulnerable groups in Pakistan.
