Stakeholders Meeting to Review PPP Act 2010 and Adopt A School Policy

A meeting was held at Sindh Education Foundation office in Karachi for the Review of Sindh PPP (Public Private Partnership) Act 2010 and the AAS (Adopt A School) Policy by stakeholders.
The meeting was headed by Prof. Anita Ghulam Ali (SEF) Dr. Baela Raza Jamil (ITA), Syed Zakir Ali Shah (Special Secretary Education) and various representatives from RSU, AKU IED, SZABIST, EFS, ACUMEN, BRITISH COUNCIL, USAID, UNICEF, TRC, IRD and HANDS.
All the fundamentals of the act were discussed during the meeting and an active participation from all corners could be seen, emphasizing on the significance of the Public Private Partnerships as the means of expedited development in various departments, especially education. All the stakeholders shared their views and opinions about the Sindh PPP Act 2010 and highlighted various aspects that need to be amended. All the changes are being incorporated into the act and will be presented to the Secretary Education in the coming months after the mutual consent of all the stakeholders.
