My name is Kashaf Iqbal. I belong to a Syed family and we live in a small village near Bahawalpur. I am enrolled in the Matric program run by ITA and am also part of the EDGE program, powered by ITA & British Council, as a Club Member. At the EDGE meetups, I am honing my spoken English skills and I am working on my computer and social skills. I like using computers, but my favorite part of the program is the spoken English part. I see Doctors, engineers and people from the army and am inspired by them. They have made something of themselves and are not only self-sufficient but also contribute to the welfare of others. I too want to work on my individuality and ‘Shanakth’ and one day want to make something of myself. I will continue to work on myself and also teach what I learn here to other girls in my village to aid them on their paths.
