Stora Enso (SE) and Idara-e-Taleem-o-Agahi (ITA) joined hands together to
provide life skill based education to children who are intensely involved in
waste collection. LSK project aims to eliminate the worst forms of child labor
by providing them formal and non-formal educational opportunities, helping
them connect social and vocational networks, and to engage and empower
communities for alternate options for safer livelihood. They are also facilitated
in health, nutrition and economic solutions to effectively withdraw them out of
child-labor.
There are total 6 campuses in 8 slum areas of Lahore. Teachers actively
engage students in multi grade teaching, remedial learning, blended
learning, sports, theater and art work.

| MOTHER\'S DAY CELEBRATIONS |

| Students presented a tribute to their
mothers with poems, poetry and speeches
and prepared cards for them with crafted
flowers. LSK celebrated tireless efforts put
in by mothers with cake and gifts! |

| This Ramadan, we continued striving to keep our children safe from cyber-bullying! Our trainings on Safe Internet continued with full zeal throughout May. |

| EXPLORING PATHWAY ON GENDER EQUALITY AND WOMEN EMPOWERMENT |

| On 3rd May, a Policy Dialogue on the
experiences and lessons on gender gap
was organized. ITA\'s team and panelists
vowed to continue their efforts. We
pledge to close the gender gap! |

MAKING STORY CHAINS USING A DICTIONARY
We took a fun-filled CLF activity to our
schools! The young and bright students
participated enthusiastically and came up
with great short 7 to 9 sentence stories
using selected words from dictionaries. |

CHILDREN LITERATURE FESTIVAL FUNDRAISER
CLF achieved another milestone! An MoU
with Children Library Complex was
signed for the Annual Lahore CLF to be
held every year at CLC in January till
2022! |
