CLF Muzaffargarh  
 
Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi (ITA) and Muzaffargarh District Government organized 61st Children’s Literature Festival (CLF) in Muzaffargarh on 3rd and 4th October, 2019 in collaboration with Oxfam and Oxford University Press (OUP). More than 4,000 children attended 61st CLF at Sardar Kaurey Khan Public Higher Secondary School, Muzaffargarh. The festival was inaugurated by Punjab Standing Committee on education Chairperson Aisha Nawaz and Muzaffargarh Deputy Commissioner Dr Ehtasham Anwar. Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi
 
Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi Learning was at the heart of CLF Muzaffargarh that offered a variety of activities. There were story telling sessions, open mic session, theatre workshops, STEM workshops, safe internet session, arts and crafts workshops, panel discussions, pottery and khussa making workshops by local artists, book stalls and much more.
 
CLF Islamabad  
The 62nd CLF was held at Lok Virsa, Islamabad on 23rd and 24th October, 2019. CLF Islamabad, held in sponsorship with Oxford University Press (OUP) Pakistan, Open Society Foundations (OSF), Oxfam, British Council, Ittehad Steel Mills, Female Education Trust Balochistan, Sightsavers and Millennium Education, saw a wide array of sessions and activities by CLF Goodwill ambassadors, MNAs, resource persons and students. Over 70 sessions were held at CLF Islamabad with over 125 resource persons and 30 partner institutions being a part of varied learning activities. Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi

ASER 2019 District Trainings  
The Annual Status of Education Report (ASER) is the largest citizen led; household based initiative that aims to provide reliable estimates on the schooling status of children aged 3-16 years residing in rural and urban districts of Pakistan. ASER Pakistan is working to release the latest stats on school education in Pakistan.

ASER 2019 district trainings are being held in rural and urban districts all across Pakistan.

Advancing Action for Adolescent Girls - Siyani Sahelian  
Siyani Sahelian is a second chance program to empower out of school adolescent girls (aged 9-19) in South Punjab. The program, funded by Department for International Development (DFID), caters to 160 schools in Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalpur and Muzaffargarh districts. A networking event was organized by the British High Commission on October 7, 2019 to bring together development partners, education experts and stakeholders to engage in a discourse on holistic and inter-sectoral approaches to address challenges of out of school girls across Pakistan. The event titled “Partnerships for Scaling-Up: What works for Girls’ Education” by Siyani Sahelian beneficiaries as well. They told their stories and demanded quality education for all girls in Pakistan.
 
CLF Young Author Award  
Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi CLF has announced 'Young Author Award' for best story writers. Submit your story before November 30, 2019 to get a chance to get your work published and win prizes. The award is aimed at promoting young story writers based in Pakistan and is open to all children aged 10-18. The winner will be announced on January 30, 2020 and the award will be given on May 30, 2020 after the winning young authors have completed a three-month mentorship program with renowned children's authors/illustrators.
 
World Teachers' Day 2019  
The World Teachers’ Day was celebrated on October 5 with the theme of “Young Teachers: The Future of the Profession". Teachers are a strong pillar of an educated society and we honor their services in the learning process. We celebrated the day at our schools. Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi
 
International Day of the Girl Child 2019  

International Day of the Girl Child was observed on October 11. This year, under the theme, “GirlForce: Unscripted and unstoppable”, ITA celebrated achievements by, with and for girls.
