Tania Rajab (13 Year Old)

One of the primary focus of the Siyani Sahelian initiative is to make education an all-inclusive medium for most marginalized girls across South Punjab. As a foremost priority, females, irrespective of their limitations, are provided with a second chance, quality education at free of cost.

Meet 13-year-old Tania Rajab, from Rahim Yar Khan.

Early in her childhood, she was diagnosed with Developmental Delay which obstructed her passion for achieving numerous milestones in her life.

With only one special school in the area, Tania had to cover up several miles every day, which soon proved to be impractical when the bridge leading to the school broke down. Left with no other option, she eventually dropped out denting any of her passions for education left.

Amidst the days of despair and hopelessness, finally came a ray of hope in the form Siyani Sahelian (a second chance girls education program by Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi).

Tania enrolled in one of the SS partner schools that specially caters to the needs of adolescent girls with a physical disability. She is now part of the primary catchup program resuming her studies in grade 4 and wishes to pursue her future education.
