Education:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Statistics/Computer Science/Economics/Data Science/Data Analytics

Experience:
1-2 years of experience in data analysis, including managing at least two national-level household surveys.

Skills:

• Data Management, cleaning, merging and Analysis (CSPRO, SQL, MS Access, MS Excel, SPSS, STATA, R or Python etc.)
• Proficient in use of survey data collection software (KoboTool, Survey CTO or ODK)
• Strong knowledge of survey design, sampling and (descriptive and inferential) analysis
• Strong dashboarding and visualization skills. Power BI preferred.
• Reporting of findings to diverse stakeholders through power point presentations, graphs and report writing.
• Monitoring and Evaluation tools for assessing quality of data collection and program component implementation
• Technical writing (project/research proposals)
• Delivering training of trainers for data collection
• Knowledge of SDGs (relevant targets and indicators) especially those related to education, climate and social exclusion

Job Advertisement:

• Develop a digital ASER questionnaire for mobile data collection (using software such as KoboTool, or SurveyCTO).
• Develop survey sampling methodology for large-scale and national level surveys (including ASER 2023).
• Conduct training of trainers as per cascading model for survey data collection at the provincial level.
• Conduct data cleaning, combine, transform, analyze and present complex datasets into actionable insights.
• Conduct survey data analysis and tabulate results for reporting through use of statistical software (STATA, R, SPSS or Python).
• Generate reports and analyses based on complex survey data for diverse public and private stakeholders.
• Manage M&E components of programs as well as large-scale surveys through interactive dashboards (using PowerBI).
• Ensure data quality at each stage of the data cycle; Supervise the data entry team.
• Provide technical and analytical support to researchers and program managers.
