Education: Bachelors in Social Science, B.Ed. will be a plus.
Experience: 2-3 years’ experience of community mobilization in educational projects
Job Description:
- Oversee the implementation of the school development program across assigned schools within the cluster.
- Ensure that all program activities align with the overall objectives and strategies of the school development initiative.
- Monitor progress in the schools and provide support to overcome any challenges in program delivery.
- Organize and conduct training sessions for teachers, school leaders, and other stakeholders to ensure effective program delivery.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by providing ongoing professional development opportunities for school staff.
- Assist schools in applying best practices and innovative strategies to enhance educational outcomes.
- Regularly visit schools within the cluster to assess program implementation and offer guidance to staff.
- Collect and analyze data on school performance and program impact, using this information to improve processes.
- Prepare and submit periodic reports on the status of the program, highlighting successes, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the cluster schools and the central program management team.
- Facilitate regular communication and feedback between schools, district officials, and program stakeholders.
- Collaborate with local communities, parents, and other relevant groups to ensure their involvement in the school development process.
- Ensure the effective distribution and use of program resources (materials, teaching aids, etc.) within the cluster.
- Support schools in managing their budgets and resources effectively to achieve the desired program outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records of daily attendance, progress reports, training sessions, and other relevant documentation.
- Prepare regular updates for senior management on the status and impact of the school development program.
- Ensure adherence to ITA’s code of conduct, policies, and procedures, as well as compliance with Safeguarding and PSEA policies.

- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge and hand on experience of social mobilization
- Good communication, report writing, decision making skills
- Excellent knowledge of the local language
- Ability to work with local communities
