Empowering Interns on Their Learning Journey

The 2025 interns currently enrolled in the Parwaaz Internship Program at Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi (ITA) are actively engaging in a valuable learning journey. While still in the early stages of their internships, they are already showing great promise through their participation in various education-focused initiatives. From supporting field activities and assisting with research to contributing to content development and community engagement, these interns are gaining hands-on experience and developing critical skills. We are confident that their dedication and willingness to learn will contribute meaningfully to ITA’s mission of promoting inclusive and equitable education for all. We look forward to witnessing their continued growth throughout the program.

Raayid Rehman Jamil

My name is Raayid Rehman Jamil, and I am currently an O Levels student. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks for the opportunity to intern at ITA Karachi office over the past three weeks. It was a truly rewarding experience, and I’m grateful for the chance to contribute while learning so much about the education sector in Pakistan.

The entire team was incredibly welcoming and professional, and I deeply appreciate the supportive environment. I’ve gained valuable insights and skills that I will carry forward in both my academic and professional journey.

Deeba Noor

My name is Deeba Noor, a passionate and dedicated student currently pursuing a BS (Hons) in Gender and Development Studies at Lahore College for Women University (LCWU). With a strong academic background in Pre-Medical and Biology, I have also become a certified Web Developer. I look forward to contributing to ITA’s impactful initiatives and gaining practical experience in education, advocacy, and community development.

Malaika Khan

I am Malaika Khan, an undergraduate student of Gender and Development Studies. I am honored to have been selected as an intern at ITA and look forward to gaining valuable hands-on experience through its educational projects. This opportunity will allow me to develop my skills, apply my academic knowledge in real-world settings, and contribute meaningfully to the organization’s mission. I am excited to learn from experienced professionals and to play an active role in supporting ITA’s impactful work.

Minahil Fatima

I am Minahil Fatima, an undergraduate student of Gender and Development Studies. I’m honored to join ITA as an intern, where I look forward to applying academic insights to real-world challenges, enhancing my professional skills, and contributing meaningfully to the organization’s mission of inclusive development.

Muqadas Fatima

My name is Muqadas Fatima and I’m currently pursuing my BS in Gender and Development Studies at LCWU and also an internee at Idara Taleem-o-Aagahi (ITA), where I am engaged in projects focused on education, youth empowerment, and inclusive learning. My work at ITA allows me to explore the intersection of education and development, while contributing to initiatives that aim to uplift underprivileged communities.

I am passionate about gender equality, social justice, and community development. I have a strong academic foundation in gender analysis and development theory. My interests include research on gender-related issues, advocacy for marginalized communities, and contributing to social change.

Shehraz Ahmad

I am Shehraz Ahmad, a passionate youth advocate, disability rights activist, and founder of Echo for Equity, working to promote inclusive education, equity, and youth empowerment in Pakistan. I am excited to collaborate with ITA to support its mission of transforming education for all, especially for marginalized communities. I look forward to learning from ITA’s innovative approach and contributing to a nationwide movement for inclusive, rights-based education.

Zahid Khan

My name is Zahid Khan, and I have completed my Bachelor’s in Chemistry from the University of the Punjab. Currently, I am working with the ITA team as an intern. It has been a valuable professional experience, as I have been given meaningful tasks that allowed me to learn and grow. The team at ITA is highly skilled and supportive, and I was impressed by the impactful projects they are working on to improve education in Pakistan.

Yusra Kazi Raheel

Yusra Kazi Raheel is a policy professional, with a Bachelors in Management Sciences from Lahore University of Management Sciences. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Public Policy at Harvard University, USA. She is interested in leveraging AI to advance foundational literacy at the elementary level for youth in the Global South. At ITA, she will be working on researching ways to incorporate AI based interventions to improve educational attainment among the youth.

Rayan-Ud-Din

My name is Rayan Uddin, and I am currently pursuing my A-Levels with a focus on Economics, Business and Accounting. I am Enthusiastic about contributing to meaningful causes, particularly those that support education and child development. Through this internship at ITA, I aim to gain practical experience, enhance my interpersonal and organizational skills, and actively support the organization’s mission to uplift underprivileged communities.

Hadia Ejaz Ahmed

My name is Hadia Ejaz Ahmed. I am a final year student at Forman Christian College University, doing my Bachelors in English Literature. I am passionate to support an organization dedicated to progressive education through the best of my abilities. As an intern at Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi, I hope to gain hands-on experience, contribute to impactful projects, and expand my understanding of the educational initiatives that can drive long term change in our country.

Huda Khalid

I’m Huda Khalid, pursuing my major in English literature and minor in Linguistics at Forman Christian College. With an adaptable nature, I can work well in both group and individual settings. While managing academic pressures, I enjoy writing, including memoirs, blogging, short stories, and articles. I like exploring digital tools like Canva, WordPress, Vix, as I’m a quick learner.

I think of working in ITA as an opportunity for personal and professional growth. As for my expectations, my goals are to gain hands-on experience in the education department, especially through ITA, as it aims to address the crisis in education. I’m excited to work with mentors who are dedicated to social change. In the end, I hope I’m able to make a minor yet impactful change in the institution’s mission.

Menal Naveed

My name is Menal Naveed. As a passionate and driven literature student at Forman Christian College, I’m excited to start an internship at ITA. Having completed my sixth semester, I’m eager to enhance my skills, and gain knowledge in every aspect. Sana Khalid

My name is Sana Khalid. I am studying English Literature and currently in my 6th semester at Forman Christian College, Lahore. I’m interested in educational and social change in society, and I’m excited to learn from the work which ITA is doing. Through this internship, I hope to gain new knowledge, improve my skills, and support ITA’s goals in any way I can.

Taha Shaukat

My name is Taha Shaukat, an Economics student at Forman Christian College University. I’m passionate about exploring the link between education and economic development in Pakistan. This internship at Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi offers an excellent opportunity to apply my academic learning to real-world issues. I aim to contribute actively to ITA’s educational initiatives while gaining valuable experience in research, policy, and community engagement.

Urma Ahmad

I’m Urma Ahmad, a visual communication design senior year student from LCWU. I’ve joined ITA for my summer internship. During my internship, I hope to gain hands-on experience in visual communication within a professional environment. I aim to enhance my design skills while contributing meaningfully to socially impactful campaigns. I also look forward to learning from experienced professionals and understanding the workflow of a leading development organization.

Roha Tahir

My name is Roha Tahir, and I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts with a specialization in Visual Communication Design at Lahore College for Women University (LCWU). I’m thrilled to begin my internship at ITA, where I look forward to gaining practical experience in a professional environment. I am eager to learn from the team, contribute meaningfully to ongoing projects, and further develop my design skills through real-world applications.

Aiman Tahir Hashmi

I am Aiman Tahir Hashmi and I am a final-year dual degree student pursuing BS (Hons) in Digital Media & Communication at Punjab University and BS (Hons) in Political Science at Government College University, Lahore. My academic focus lies at the intersection of media, governance, and human rights, with a particular passion for issues surrounding climate change, gender justice, and displacement. I am currently interning at Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi (ITA), where I aim to deepen my understanding of how educational and development projects are designed, delivered, and implemented. Through this experience, I hope to gain practical insights into program formation, coordination, and evaluation. I am particularly interested in learning how communication and collaboration are carried out between organizations, stakeholders, and government bodies. This internship is helping me understand how meaningful development work is carried out and how I can contribute effectively within a collaborative and purpose-driven setting.

Muhammad Ali

My name is Muhammad Ali, and I am pleased to join the ITA team as an Intern. I have recently completed my Matriculation and am currently awaiting the results of my Intermediate (ICS). I am enthusiastic about contributing to the team and eager to gain practical experience that will help me develop and enhance my technical and professional skills. I am inspired by ITA’s commitment to transforming education in Pakistan, especially for underserved communities, and I look forward to being a part of this meaningful mission.

Laila Fatima

My name is Laila Fatima, and I have recently completed my BBA in Finance from the CIMS Institute, GCU. I consider the opportunity to work at ITA as a valuable step toward my professional development. I am truly inspired by the impactful work ITA is doing and am eager to contribute and learn through this internship.
Currently, I am working in the IT department, where I am gaining hands-on experience. I have a particular interest in website management and content writing, and I look forward to further enhancing my skills in these areas during my time here.

Mehwish Ehsan

My name is Mehwish Ehsan, I am currently a student of BS (Hons) Sociology in my 7th semester at Lahore College for Women University (LCWU). I have a strong interest in management and maintaining discipline, which helps me stay organized and focused. I recently completed an online Public Speaking course from Al Midrar Institution, where I enhanced my communication and leadership skills. My goal is to become a lecturer.

By working with ITA, I hope to gain hands-on experience in community-based educational projects, understand grassroots-level challenges, and enhance my ability to engage, communicate, and create social impact. I look forward to learning from ITA experienced team and contributing actively to its mission of quality education for all.

Mehak Shafi

My name is Mehak Shafi, and I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology at Lahore College for Women University (LCWU). I have a deep interest in social development and community engagement, which aligns closely with ITA’s mission of promoting quality education and social equity in Pakistan.

Khadija Saeed

My name is Khadija Saeed, and I am currently studying English Literature at Forman Christian College University (FCCU). I am deeply passionate about education and volunteer work, with experience supporting underprivileged students and participating in literary societies.

Raza Kandel

My name is Raza Kandel. I live in Washington, D.C., where I currently attend the Maret School and plan to transfer to Georgetown Day School next year. Academically, I am most engaged in Spanish, Math, and English, and outside of the classroom, I enjoy playing tennis, reading, and traveling. As an intern at ITA, I hope to engage in meaningful learning experiences that deepen my understanding of development work in Pakistan. I am particularly interested in gaining insight into research and advocacy through ASER, while also benefiting from mentorship and guidance. I look forward to taking on challenging, thought-provoking tasks that will expand my perspective and allow me to contribute meaningfully to ITA’s mission.

Darisha Ejaz

I’m Darisha Ejaz, I have recently completed my bachelors in Sociology from LCWU. I have been the General Secretary of Sociological Society for 2 years and have been arranging and participating in workshops, seminars and other activities. With a background in social sciences and active involvement in learning opportunities, I aim to contribute meaningfully to impactful initiatives. As an HR Intern at Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi, I expect to gain valuable practical exposure to HR functions, including recruitment, employee engagement, and organizational processes. I aim to contribute positively to the team while developing strong professional competencies that will support my career in human resources.
