Intern – EdTech, LMS & Digital Tools

Purpose of the Internship:

The intern will provide hands-on support to (a) the administration, content management, and user support of ITA’s Learning Management System (LMS), and (b) the design and delivery of digital skills training and outreach to local communities under the SSTR project.

Duration & Location: The internship is for a period of six (6) months (full-time), based in Lahore, with occasional local travel for community training activities as required by the SSTR project.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or final-year student) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education Technology, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of, or hands-on experience with, Learning Management Systems (e.g., Moodle or similar platforms).
  • Comfort with common digital tools and applications: MS Office/Google Workspace, Canva, basic video/photo editing, and video conferencing platforms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Urdu.
  • Interest or prior experience in training/facilitation, community engagement, or digital literacy work is an advantage.
  • Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
  • Willingness to travel locally within Lahore for community-based training sessions, as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day administration of ITA’s LMS: user account management, course/content uploads, structuring learning pathways, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Assist in testing new LMS features/modules and reporting bugs or usability issues to the technical team.
  • Help prepare and format digital learning content (course material, facilitator guides, presentations) for upload to the LMS.
  • Support the design, adaptation, and delivery of digital skills training sessions for local communities engaged through the SSTR project.
  • Assist in organizing and co-facilitating community-level digital literacy and awareness sessions (in coordination with field teams).
  • Track participant enrollment, attendance, and completion data on the LMS and community training rolls; help compile basic progress reports.
  • Support the use of everyday digital tools (e.g., MS Office/Google Workspace, Canva, video conferencing platforms) for both training delivery and internal reporting.
  • Provide first-line technical/user support to trainees and community participants accessing the LMS.
  • Assist with documentation, meeting notes, and periodic reporting on SSTR’s EdTech and digital-skills activities.
  • Undertake any other related tasks assigned by the supervisor in support of the project’s EdTech and community training objectives.
