Location: Lahore

Education: Master’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Statistics, Research, Public Policy, or a related field.

Experience: 1–3 years of relevant professional experience in research, education programs, project coordination, data management, monitoring, or a related field.

Job Summary:
Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi (ITA) is seeking a motivated and experienced professional to join its Program team as Project Associate. The position will support research, training, project coordination, data management, and reporting related to education programs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Research & Data Management
  • Design and coordinate research studies using appropriate research methodologies.
  • Manage research activities, including piloting, data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Develop research proposals, concept papers, and budgets for potential funding opportunities.
  • Support data analysis and interpretation to inform program strategies and decision-making.
2. Training & Capacity Building
  • Conduct training sessions for research teams, partners, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Design and refine training content for school staff and community members.
  • Analyze training outcomes and recommend improvements to strengthen educational interventions.
3. Project Coordination
  • Manage and regularly update SIS/TIS records for student and teacher data under PEF/PEIMA.
  • Support quality education delivery, textbook provision, and QAT implementation in schools.
  • Facilitate social mobilization, conflict resolution, and project-related events.
  • Maintain effective liaison and correspondence with district officials, PEF monitors, and other education stakeholders.
  • Strengthen monitoring mechanisms to ensure staff presence in the field and timely implementation of project activities.
4. Administration & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date school and project records.
  • Ensure effective communication regarding project progress, challenges, and key developments.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on project activities and progress.
Skills:
  • Proficiency in statistical and data management tools, including SPSS, KoboToolbox, and MS Excel.
  • Strong data analysis, project management, communication, and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of national education policies and experience working with government and district-level stakeholders.
  • Strong IT skills, with experience using education management systems such as SIS/TIS.
  • Willingness to undertake extensive field travel as required by the project.
